Blue Sky is an alternative asset manager with a team of over 60 investment professionals and support staff.
The presentation covers the company's alternative investment strategy and outlook for growth.
Speaking about the investment landscape Mr Sowerby says, "We recently joined the ASX All Ords and yesterday we announced out we had $1 billion under management. We also put our investor returns out as well which have pleasantly surprised a lot of people."
"One of the things we look for in our private equity team are businesses that have structural tail winds. Funds management is certainly one of those."
"We're solving for a problem people didn't realise they had."
"We're looking at alternatives being 17 or 18 per cent of Australia's asset allocation model."
"Alternatives are not very complicated at all. They are private equity and venture capital, private real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and other real assets."
"We said that we would provide three to five exits from private equity and we're on track to do that as well. One of those will be a company called Readify that we anticipate will listing in June this year on the ASX."
