Sheffield receives Govt approvals assistance

Company News

Mineral sands developer Sheffield Resources Limited (ASX:SFX) has seen its Thunderbird project receive approvals support.

The company says its project near Derby in WA has been assessed and designated a level 2 Lead Agency Project Proposal by the local regulator, the DMP.

The outcome means the DMP will assist the company with managing the approvals process across other WA government agencies as the project proposal progresses.

Managing Director Bruce McQuitty says this acknowledges the significance of the Thunderbird project to the state.

Sheffield reported a net loss of $2.5 million in the 2014 full year.
