Adelaide Brighton Limited
(ASX:ABC) has posted a record annual profit over the 2014 financial and calendar year.
The construction material and lime group boosted its net profit by 14.3 per cent to $172.7 million while its underlying profit rose 8.5 per cent to $166.5 million.
The company’s revenue result grew 8.9 per cent to $1.3 billion on the back of recent acquisitions and growth in construction markets.
Looking ahead Adelaide Brighton anticipates this year’s sales volume of cement and clinker to be similar to or greater than last years.
A fully franked final dividend of 9.5 cents per share has been declared.
