Spotless Group Holdings Limited
(ASX:SPO) has inked a deal to buy AE Smith who are described as Australia’s leading air-conditioning and mechanical services provider.
The acquisition is the cleaning and services company’s fourth strategic purchase over the last six months and the deal is expected to be tied up by the end of this month.
CEO and Managing Director Bruce Dixon believes AE Smith will provide the company with a platform for growth into technical services across a range of sectors.
Chairman Margaret Jackson has advised the company will continue to consider strategic acquisitions to supplement underlying organic growth and generate the best returns.
Spotless Group reported a net loss of $34.7 million in the 2014 financial year.
