SingTel extends cloud reach with $13M buy

Singapore Telecommunications Limited (ASX:SGT) has inked a deal to buy Australia-based Ensyst Pty Ltd. for about $13 million.  
 
The telco says Ensyst provides cloud-based professional and managed services in Australia. 
 
Ensyst also works on cloud architecture, cloud migration and unified communications systems. 
 
While the deal is still subject to approvals SingTel says it plans to pay for the purchase in cash. 
 
Singapore Telecommunications reported a net profit of $1.68 billion in the 2014 financial year.
