Laurence Freedman AM appointed Chairman
Phoslock Water Solutions (ASX:PHK) today announced the appointment of Laurence Freedman AM as Chairman.
The Board of Directors now comprise of:
- Mr Laurence Freedman AM, who brings substantial expertise in emerging companies, investment management and as a director of public companies internationally;
- Mr Robert Schuitema, who is an experienced international resource industry investment banker and public company director. He is a chartered accountant and is currently fulfilling the role of CFO and Company Secretary;
- The Hon. Pam Allan, who gives strong government and regulatory process insight from 18 years membership of the NSW Parliament including 5 years as Minister for the Environment.
Mr Freedman said the Company’s focus going forward is to convert its sales pipeline into large-scale, revenue generating applications.
“Phoslock has established an impressive global reach for a Company of its size through its sales and distribution network which has been significantly extended in the USA and Canada in recent months.
“Our product is proven through trials and sales in 20 countries as the most effective means of improving water quality through reducing and eliminating algae-causing phosphorus in almost any water body. I am confident that this will be reflected in a shorter sales cycle to winning substantial contracts.”
