Australian resources company Meridian Minerals Limited (‘Meridian’ or ‘Company’) (ASX: MII) today announces assay results from the latest nine diamond drill holes drilled at the Kubra Prospect on the Lennard Shelf Project. All nine holes were drilled with the objective of following up the discovery of the new mineralised zone at the Kubra Prospect, which was first announced on 8 March 2011. Meridian is still awaiting the assay results from the last nine drill holes that were completed as a part of the Kubra Prospect drill program.
