Following on from the Perkoa Project Update announcement on 2 January 2013, Blackthorn Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) (“the Company” or “Blackthorn Resources”) wishes to provide the following further update regarding the Perkoa Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
The official opening ceremony of the Perkoa Project was held on site on the 19 January 2013 with over 1,000 people attending including representatives of Glencore and Blackthorn Resources as well as senior government officials. We were honoured that the Prime Minister Tiao was also in attendance.
