Qualitas is a real estate investment management firm focused on investing across the capital structure and risk spectrum. They are active in the major capital cities of Australia, deploying institutional and private investor capital to fund high-quality, commercial real estate partners. Established in 2008, They manage circa AU $4 billion of committed capital.
Their investment philosophy is to seek deep value-based opportunities, with a focus on risk mitigation through institutional-grade risk assessment and management, governance and operational platforms. They co-invest from their own balance sheet to ensure alignment with Their investors.
The Qualitas Real Estate Income Fund (ASX:QRI) aims to provide regular income and portfolio diversification by investing in the opportunities of the commercial real estate (CRE) debt market. QRI aims to provide investors with monthly cash income and capital preservation via a portfolio of investments with exposure to CRE loans secured by real property mortgages (first and second mortgages) predominantly in Australia, diversified by borrower, loan type, property sector and location.
