Beach Energy Limited, formerly Beach Petroleum Limited, is an Australia-based company.
The Company is engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production, and investment in the resources industry. The Company’s exploration and production primarily focuses on the Cooper-Eromanga Basin in central Australia.
The Company has interests in 20 petroleum exploration and 263 production licenses. Gippsland Basin (BMG) includes four wells in the Basker field and one well in the Manta field, and it holds 30% interest in the Basker, Manta and Gummy oil and gas fields, offshore Victoria.
The Company had 40% interest in the producing Tipton West Field and in the Surat Basin. The Company’s subsidiaries include Beach Petroleum (NZ) Pty Ltd, Beach Oil and Gas Pty Ltd, Beach Production Services Pty Ltd, Beach Petroleum (Egypt) Pty Ltd, Beach Petroleum Spain S.L. and Beach (USA) Inc. In February 2010, the Company acquired a 51% interest in Somerton Energy Limited.
