Clarity Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX: CU6) announced its Appendix 4E Preliminary Final Report for the year ended 30 June 2026 on 27 August 2026. Clarity is a clinical stage radiopharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of serious diseases, developing targeted copper theranostics based on its SAR Technology Platform for the treatment of cancer. The company reported a 68% increase in revenue from ordinary activities, reaching $8.004 million. However, its loss from ordinary activities after tax attributable to owners rose by 67% to $107.242 million for the period. No dividends were paid or declared.

The increased loss largely reflects a significant strategic investment in research and development, with expenditure climbing $24.2 million to $91.1 million. This was primarily directed towards advancing clinical trial and commercial-readiness activities. Despite the higher loss, Clarity Pharmaceuticals ended the financial year in a strong financial position, reporting liquid assets of $178.3 million, up from $84.1 million in the previous period. Net tangible assets per ordinary security also saw a substantial increase from 28.1 cents to 49.9 cents, supported by a successful $203 million placement completed in July 2025 and a $9.8 million R&D Tax Incentive refund.

The company continued to progress its clinical pipeline, with lead product SAR-bisPSMA actively moving through three trials for prostate cancer (SECuRE, CLARIFY, and AMPLIFY). Planning is also underway for a registrational Phase III trial of 64Cu-SARTATE for neuroendocrine tumours, following positive data and successful discussions with the US FDA. Furthermore, Clarity significantly expanded its manufacturing and supply chain capabilities through new agreements, including copper-67 supply with Nusano and large-scale copper-64 manufacturing with Theragenics and Nucleus RadioPharma. The winding up of its European subsidiary, Clarity Pharmaceuticals Europe SA, was completed on 31 December 2025.
