$53M NPAT for Select Harvest (ASX:SHV)

Select Harvest (ASX:SHV) has achieved a net profit after tax of $53 million for the 12 months ending 30 September 2019.

Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation came in at $95.2 million.

Earnings per share were up 139.7 per cent to 55.5 cents per share. It attributes the strong performance to increased almond production and a firm almond sales price.

The 2019 almond crop is up 45 per cent on last year.

Shares in Select Harvest (ASX:SHV) are trading 10.9 per cent higher at $8.03.
