Mirabela Nickel Limited
(ASX:MBN) Chairman Geoff Handley and two other directors Colin Steyn and Peter Nicholson have resigned from the company’s board.
Mirabela says Ian McCubbing has been appointed as non-executive chairman to replace Mr Handley, effective January 11.
Nick Sheard remains a non-executive director and will assume the role of Audit Committee Chairman. Ian Purdy remains managing director of the company.
Mr McCubbing is a chartered accountant who has more than 25 years corporate experience, principally in the areas of corporate finance and M&A.
Mirabela Nickel booked a net loss of $74.3 million in the first half ended June 30, 2013.
