Programmed Maintenance Services Limited
(ASX:PRG) delivered a net profit of $12.4 million in the first half of fiscal 2014.
The result is relatively on par with the same period last year, due to the impact of a slowdown in investment in the resources sector..
Revenue was down 4.5 per cent to $724 million, due mainly to reduced activity in Programmed's resources division.
But the company says an improved performance from its property & infrastructure and workforce divisions helped it maintain its profitability.
Managing director Chris Sutherland says the company expects its full year profit result to be similar to last year's.
