(ASX:AST) has today announced that long serving Managing Director, Nino Ficca, has advised the Board of his intention to retire by the end of 2019.
The energy company has thanked Mr Ficca for his leadership of the company and his contribution to the wider industry.
Ausnet says he led the company through its initial public listing in 2005 and since that time has overseen a sustained period of strong performance and returns to shareholders, with a consistently strong balance sheet.
The Board has in place a succession planning process and the search for Mr Ficca’s replacement is being supported by a global executive search firm.

(ASX:AST) are trading 0.55 per cent lower at $1.79.
