Yancoal sales up 11% in Q1

Yancoal Australia (ASX:YAL) saw attributable sales volume of 8.8 megatonnes for the first quarter of 2019, up 11 per cent year on year.

Attributable saleable coal production increased 2 per cent year on year for the March quarter, to 13 megatonnes.

Run-of-mine coal was also up 9 per cent, at 17.3 megatonnes.

In light of these results, guidance remains unchanged.

Yancoal Australia (ASX:YAL) shares closed flat at $3.54 yesterday.
