Spark New Zealand announces Chief Executive transition

Spark New Zealand (ASX:SPK) has today announced Simon Moutter has resigned from his positions as Managing Director and as a Director of the Company.

The Board of Directors have appointed Jolie Hodson, who is currently Customer Director at Spark, as Spark’s new Chief Executive she will take the reins from July 1st 2019.

Spark Chair Justine Smyth says Mr Moutter has played a pivotal role in the transformation of Spark over the past seven years. 

Ms Hodson joined Spark in 2013 and brings a broad range of experience. Her most recent role has been Customer Director. Previously she was CEO of the former Spark Digital unit and Chief Financial Officer.

Shares in Spark (ASX:SPK) closed 08 per cent lower at $3.62 yesterday.
