December the best month ever for Afterpay Touch

The Afterpay Touch Group (ASX:APT) report that December was the largest ever month on record for them.

Underlying sales in 1H FY19 was over $2.2 billion, up from $918 million in 1H FY18. That's up 240 per cent.

Over 23,000 merchants have transacted with Afterpay around the world in the last 12 months.

And there are over 3.1 million active customers in the last 12 months, growing at an average of approximately 7,500 new customers per day over Q2 FY19.

Afterpay’s customer profile continues to develop as we enter new verticals. The average customer age is 33 and rising.

Shares in Afterpay Touch Group (ASX:APT) trading 10.95 per cent higher at $15.81.
