Spicers to sell Asian properties to Japan Pulp and Paper

Industrial supplies company Spicers (ASX:SRS) is pleased to confirm that clearance has been received from the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore on the sale of its Asian operations to Japan Pulp and Paper Company.

The parties expect a completion date of December 11 this year for the transaction.

Operating from locations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, Spicers is a leader in Commercial Print Paper, Sign and Display Consumables and Hardware, Digital Media, Label and Packaging materials, Architectural and Construction finishes and Industrial Packaging.

Shares in Spicers (ASX:SRS) closed flat at $0.05 yesterday.
