ClearVue Technologies receive ATO boost

Smart building material company ClearVue Technologies (ASX:CPV) has received a payment from the Australian Tax Office of almost $500,000 as part of the Commonwealth Government Research & Development Tax Incentive Program.

The claim related to research and development completed during the year on things such as integrating the solar technology components into the insulated glazing unit (IGU) and manufacturing activities.

ClearVue Technologies (ASX:CPV) operates in the Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BPIV) sector which involves the integration of solar technology into building and agricultural industries, specifically glass and building surfaces, to provide renewable energy.

Shares in ClearVue Technologies (ASX:CPV) are up 5.41 per cent to 39 cents.
