Life sciences company, Cellmid (ASX:CDY) has today announced that its Evolis anti-aging hair products will be sold permanently in Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales stores from September 2018.

Cellmid says it expects a significant increase in sales as a result of the deal, with monthly sales to increase by six-fold just by selling through the first six stores.

Meantime, the Evolis branded products will be launched in Japan this month.

The company says this is the first time that Australian manufactured products will be exported to Japan and it follows a period of extensive testing on Japanese customers, assessing both beauty and therapeutic products.

Shares in Cellmid (ASX:CDY) are trading 5.75 per cent higher to 46 cents.
