Mining and resources company Tawana Resources
(ASX:TAW) has announced the commencement of lithium production at its Bald Hill mine.
The tantalum and lithium mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia and is co-owned by Singapore listed company Alliance Mineral Assets.
The company says it’s a great effort by everyone involved to take Bald Hill from maiden lithium resource to production in nine months.
Tawana’s focus is now on achieving a steady state production from stage 1 dense media separation (DMS) and the optimisation lithium yields.
Shares in Tawana
(ASX:TAW) are trading 5.75 per cent higher at 46 cents.
