Briscoe sees record full year sales and upgrades NPAT

Retailer, Briscoe (ASX:BGP) reported record full-year sales, and a 3.5 per cent jump on the prior corresponding period, for the 52 weeks to January's end.

The NZ chain’s $603 million annual sales were bolstered by record Black Friday and Boxing day sales.

As a result, the group is now expecting this year’s net profit after tax (NPAT) will hit a new high, of $61 million.

And if you were to look at its online sales, that saw sales jump 30 per cent, on the prior year on the back of the business focusing on its web offering.

Shares in Briscoe (ASX:BGP) are trading flat, at $3.78.
