RCR Tomlinson to build solar energy projects in QLD

RCR Tomlinson (ASX:RCR) has been awarded two solar farm projects contracts totaling $315 million.

The diversified engineering and infrastructure company won the contracts for the engineering, procurement, construction and operation of Daydream and Hayman Solar Farm projects in North Queensland.

RCR Tomlinson says it’s pleased to deliver these two large scale solar energy projects and will commence construction in the third quarter of 2017.

RCR will operate the two renewable energy projects for an initial period of 10 years, with an option to extend a further 5 years.

Shares in RCR Thomlinson (ASX:RCR) are trading 2.79 per cent higher to $3.68.
