Catapult Group International Limited
(ASX:CAT) has inked a deal with the NRL and its sponsorship partners, to deliver live on-screen data for the State of Origin broadcasts.
The company says the NRL State of Origin game 1, was the first time it used its Clearsky 2 tracking system to broadcast live data.
The sports analytics company says its Clearsky 2 tracking system, is powered by up to 20 receivers [or beacons] which generate over 1,000 live data points per second.
Catapult says it has Clearsky 2 installed at the remaining State of Origin venues, plus other stadiums globally with plans to expand.
Shares in Catapult Group International Limited
(ASX:CAT) closed 1.55% higher to $1.64.
