Aristocrat delivers strong half year growth 2017

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX:ALL) has announced its net profit after tax soared 56.9% in the first half of 2017 compared to the prior corresponding period to $249.6 million.

The poker manufacturing giant’s revenue rose to $1.23 million, an increase of 21.6%.

Aristocrat’s EBITDA increased 34% to $498.9 million.

The company declared a dividend of 14.0 cents per share 25% franked for the six months ending 31 March 2017.

Aristocrat says despite a highly competitive market, its stronger results are largely due to its industry leading content, hardware and technology.

Shares in Aristocrat Leisure Limited last traded 3.38% higher to $20.92.
