Platinum Capital enters trading halt ahead of share placement

Platinum Capital Limited (ASX:PMC) has announced it has entered into a trading halt for two trading days.

The investment company requested the halt so it can conduct a placement of new shares.

Platinum Capital expects to make an announcement about the placement before trading commences on 6 March 2017.

The halt is expected to remain until that date, unless Platinum Capital requests the halt to be lifted.

Platinum Capital Limited (ASX:PMC) last reported a net profit $23.93 million for the half year to 31 December 2016.
