Liquified Natural Gas Limited
(ASX:LNG) says it has been given final approval from the US Department of Energy to export its product to countries that do not have a free trade agreement with the United States.
This makes Bear Head the first Canadian LNG export facility with approval to begin construction winning all regulatory approval in less than 12 months.
The permit also means Bear Head doesn’t require extra approvals for its Canadian gas to transit through US pipelines on the way to export from Nova Scotia.
Liquified Natural Gas recorded a net loss of $86.31 million for the 2015 financial year.
