OzAurum Resources (ASX: OZM) has announced significant gold discoveries at the New Cross Fault within its Mulgabbie North Gold Project in Western Australia, confirming a high-grade mineralised zone extending over 400 metres. The latest aircore (AC) drilling program, consisting of 32 holes over 987 metres, has refined targets for upcoming reverse circulation (RC) drilling.

Key intercepts from the program include 6 metres at 1.54 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 31 metres in hole MNOAC 757 and 4 metres at 1.66 g/t gold from 41 metres in hole MNOAC 755. These results build on previous drilling, which intersected grades of up to 13.54 g/t gold, indicating a strong mineralised system open at depth and along strike.

The discovery is located 1.3 kilometres south of previous drilling within the highly prospective Relief Shear, a structural corridor known for gold mineralisation. The company has identified additional fault offsets and quartz vein systems, which suggest further exploration potential.

Managing Director Andrew Pumphrey said the latest results reinforce OzAurum’s exploration model and highlight the potential for a significant gold discovery. “The latest AC program has confirmed our initial results and defined high-grade mineralisation over a 400-metre strike. We look forward to commencing RC drilling in the coming weeks to further test these exciting targets,” he said.

OzAurum is now preparing for follow-up RC and AC drilling as rigs become available, aiming to expand on the mineralised footprint and evaluate the potential scale of the deposit.
