WiseTech Global (ASX: WTC) has announced the resignation of four independent non-executive directors—Lisa Brock, Richard Dammery, Michael Malone, and Fiona Pak-Poy—following boardroom tensions over the ongoing role of founder Richard White. The resignations will take effect after the company’s half-year financial report is signed and released on 26 February 2025.
The departures highlight internal disagreements over White’s continued role as Founder and Founding CEO, a position created in October 2024 as part of a governance restructuring. The board intends to appoint additional directors in due course, with Mike Gregg set to rejoin as a director after the half-year results announcement. Gregg, a founding partner of Shearwater Capital and former WiseTech director (2006-2022), has an extensive history with the company.
WiseTech also updated its FY25 guidance, stating that revenue is now expected to be at the lower end of its forecast range, due to further delays in the rollout of three “Breakthrough Products.” However, EBITDA margin is projected to be toward the higher end of the prior range, driven by stronger efficiency measures.
Interim CEO Andrew Cartledge, Interim CFO Caroline Pham, and White will present the half-year results on Wednesday.
