Recent downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying at Locksley Resources Limited’s Tottenham Copper Project, near the township of Tottenham in New South Wales, has identified strong off-hole conductors from drillholes TORC024 and TORC029.
These responses, observed outside the existing Orange Plains – Mount Royal mineral resource, support the concept of a new mineralised ribbon or horizon that may represent a previously unknown third mineralised zone.
The Tottenham Project currently has a JORC (2012) compliant inferred resource of 9.86Mt at 0.72 per cent Cu and 0.22g/t Au across the Carolina and Mount Royal – Orange Plains deposits.
The identified conductors coincide with a parallel magnetic anomaly to the south-east of the current resources, further indicating the potential for a significant resource expansion.
