Chris Pedersen

Chris Pedersen is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Pedersen Asset Management Pty Ltd.

He has 3 decades of experience in New York and Australia in Financial Services starting on the Trading Floors in New York to running dealing desks, developing investment strategies and managing customer and institutional assets andManaged Funds over $1 billion in value.

His focus and out performance of benchmarks is derived from a rigorous risk management process linked into fundamental analysis. This approach finds a mismatch of probabilities that is used to enhance returns.

Mr Pedersen was on the Investment committee at Vertex Capital who won Alternative Investment Manager of the Year in Australia 2003.

He has held various directorships such as at the Sydney Futures Exchange. Mr Pedersen has spoken often at global investment seminars, NYU graduate School of Business along with extensive coverage in the press such as the Wall Street Journal, NY Times and Australian Financial Review along with regular interviews on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, etc.
