WDS Limited, along with others in the mining services sector, has been challenged by the difficult conditions in the coal sector over the past year. We are all familiar with the headline reports about the end of the resources boom, mines closing and development projects being deferred. But in the energy sector it is quite a different story and our profit results for the year to June 2013 certainly reflect that.
