Appointment of Company Secretary and C.F.O.
The Board of Range River Gold is pleased to announce that Mr. Bill Michaelidis has been appointed to the position of Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Michaelidis brings over 20 years senior financial management and company secretarial experience in gold mining companies. His experience covers the full spectrum of financial/secretarial functions including finance, accounting, reporting and fundraising. This experience was gained with Newcrest Limited, Acacia Resources Limited and New Hampton Goldfields. More recently Bill has been CFO and Company Secretary of Stellar Resources Limited and Flow Energy Limited.
His appointment follows the pending retirement of Mr. Ross Kemp as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, effective 31 March 2011.
Managing Director, Rick Watsford said he is pleased to welcome Bill to the executive team and is confident that this skills and experience will continue to take the company forward following the Ross’s excellent contribution over the past three years.
Mr Watsford added that Bill’s experience at both the corporate level and the coal face of hard rock gold mining will add additional expertise to the team. This will be an important in the next phase of RNG’s development as we focus on extracting the maximum return for shareholders from Company’s Mt Morgans gold operations.
