nearmap Ltd (“NEA”) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Peter James as Deputy Chair and Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 21 December 2015.
Mr Ross Norgard intends to step down as Chair of the Company in 2016 and remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr James has enjoyed a successful business career with a focus on building emerging technology, media and telecommunications companies.
Mr James is currently Chair of ASX listed Macquarie Telecom and New Zealand NXT Exchange listed Snakkmedia. Previously amongst other roles, Mr James was a long term director of iiNet where he chaired iiNet’s Strategy and Innovation Committee and was actively involved in the $1.5bn sale to TPG.
