Lithium Power International Limited (ASX:LPI) (“LPI”) requests a trading halt in respect of its securities with immediate effect.
In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, we advise that:
(a) the trading halt is requested in relation to a capital raising to be undertaken as a placement of new fully paid ordinary shares to institutional investors which is underwritten by Canaccord Genuity (Australia) Limited;
(b) the trading halt is expected to last until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 22 November 2017 or the release of an announcement to ASX in relation to the completion of the capital raising; and
(c) LPI is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
