(ASX:CTP) (“Central”) has pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mr Trevor Shortt as Central’s new Exploration Manager. Mr Shortt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in unconventional drilling, exploration and production operations garnered through his vast experience with North American unconventional reservoirs.
As the Company plans for its renewed liquids focussed exploration campaign in the second half of 2011, Mr Shortt, previously Exploration Manager with Bengal Energy Ltd of Calgary, Alberta, has replaced Mr Stewart Bayford following his resignation as Exploration Manager with Central Petroleum. Central would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Bayford for his effective stewardship of Central’s portfolio over the past two years and the Company wishes him well in his new endeavours.
