Owner of The Athletes Foot brand, RCG Corporation Ltd (ASX:RCG) says The Athlete’s Foot business reported a 10% increase in sales for the four months to October.
Compared to the same period last year the company says sales increased 30% at its large format stores.
RCG has opened 11 large format Athlete’s Foot stores so far with another 10 to open by the end of the financial year.
RCG says its directors continue to be delighted with the consistently exceptional performance from The Athlete’s Foot business.
RCG also says that the establishment of a wholesale and distribution business was almost complete and will be ready to start shipping Merrell product as soon as its contract begins in January 2010.
RCG posted a profit in 2008 after losses the two years previous.
