Premier Investments Limited (ASX:PMV) has appointed Colette Gamsey as core brand director for Premier Retail, overseeing its fashion brands.
The move will reunite Ms Gamsey with her former boss Mark McInnes. Premier’s chief says Ms Gamsey has a proven track record for delivering excellent shareholder results.
Ms Gamsey comes directly from Pacific Brands Limited (ASX:PBG) where she spent one year with the company .
She will commence with Premier in late September. The group owns retail brands including Portmans, Dotti and Just Jeans saw a 2.4 per cent decline in its first half figures due to the weaker retail sector.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year, Premier posted a net profit of $38.5 million.
