Sipa Resources Limited (ASX:SRI) Woodline Drilling Update

Woodline Gold Project Drilling Update

Sipa Resources Limited is pleased to provide an update on RC and RAB drilling programmes currently being carried out at our Woodline Gold Project:

- Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling which commenced on 15 March 2011 has been completed at the Theofrastos Prospect. 26 holes for 3,067 metres were drilled

- The RC rig has now moved to the Ommaney Prospect where at least 14 holes are planned for approximately 1,500 metres

- The RC rig will then move to the Socrates Prospect, where at least 7 holes for some 750 metres are planned

- Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling commenced on 16 March 2011, with 301 holes for 12,150 metres having been completed within the Theofrastos and Heraclitus Prospects

- Once finished at Heraclitus the RAB rig will move to Ommaney, Cleanthes, and other Regional Exploration Targets.

The RC drilling at Theofrastos and Ommaney is targeting, at depth in the fresh zone, gold mineralised trends outlined by gold-in-calcrete soil anomalies, and more recently obtained gold-in-bottom-of-RAB hole drill anomalies, within metamorphic rocks similar to the emerging Tropicana Gold Province in the Yilgarn-Albany Fraser Transition Zone.

RC drilling planned for Socrates will follow-up encouraging RC gold intersections from earlier programmes, in Archaean greenstone belt geology.

Results are expected to commence flowing from late this week, and will be reported once collated and assessed. Follow-up RC and RAB programmes will then be planned and commenced.

The RC and RAB drilling is a continuation of iterative, gradually closer spaced and deeper testing, of very large gold-in-calcrete anomalies.
