Sipa Resources Limited (ASX:SRI) Drilling Recommences at Woodline

Drilling Resumes at Woodline

Sipa is pleased to announce the RAB and Percussion drilling has resumed at our Woodline  Gold and Basemetals Project in the Southeastern Goldfields of Western Australia.

Following on from considerable encouragement in Sipa drilling programmes over the last eighteen months at Woodline, we have just commenced another programme of approximately 20,000 metres. Prospects targeted include Theofrastos, Leucippus, Ademanthus, Ommaney and Cleanthes, as shown on Figure 1. Most of the drilling will be by RAB method, but deeper percussion holes will also be drilled at Theofrastos and Ommaney.

Theofrastos, Ommaney and Cleanthes are within Proterozoic metamorphic rocks of the Archaean – Albany – Frazer Transition Zone that host the plus 5 million ounce Tropicana Resources of AngloGold Ashanti – Independence Group to the northeast, whilst Leucippus and Ademanthos are in Archaean greenstones.

Results will be released as they are received, compiled and interpreted over the next two months.
