Drill testing of the ‘Bella Vista’ IP anomaly at Catch Dam on EL 4352 (Collins Tank tenement) is complete.
A single diamond drillhole to depth of 456m intersected the target, following which the rig demobilised from site.
Drillhole 14DDCT001 intersected a sequence of psammites and calc-silicates with disseminated and thin veinlets of pyrrhotite and pyrite. Minor Cu and Zn in the form of chalcopyrite and sphalerite is associated with the veining however assay grades are expected to be uneconomic.
Sulphides intersected are considered to adequately explain the IP high-amplitude chargeability anomaly targeted by the drill hole.
