Brisbane based Metro Mining Ltd.’s Managing Director Simon Finnis has been awarded Asia Pacific Mining Executive of the Year at the internationally recognised Mines and Money Forum in Hong Kong.
Mines and Money is Asia’s largest mining investment forum. Now in its 12th year, it has helped to generate billions of dollars in business deals and opportunities.
Over 1000 global decision makers, mining executives, investors, commodity buyers and policy makers from 40 countries attended the forum (2-4 April 2019) where 80 miners showcased their projects. The Industry leaders also discussed political and macroeconomic impacts on the price of commodities, supply and demand dynamics and China’s role as a key consumer.
