The principal continuing activities of the MSF group consist of:

•sugar cane growing
•raw sugar manufacture
•raw sugar marketing, and
•investing in Sugar Terminals Limited (STL)

The MSF group also has significant investments in agricultural property and water rights to support its cane growing activities.

The property portfolio consists of almost 5,500 hectares in the Maryborough district, 60 hectares in the Isis district and 315 hectares in Far North Queensland.

The group owns water rights totalling 7,233 ML in the Lower Mary Irrigation Scheme and 142 ML in the Bundaberg Water Supply Scheme.

The group's sugar milling operations are located at Maryborough (SEQ) and Gordonvale (FNQ).

Cane growing activities are conducted in the Maryborough and Isis districts in SEQ and the Babinda district in FNQ.

STL is the owner of Queensland 's bulk sugar terminals.
