KBL Mining Ltd, New High Grade Copper-Gold Lode Intersected with Underground Drilling
15 Aug,2012 09:46 AM

- Initial results indicate a new style of gold-rich mineralisation below the current workings at Mineral Hill’s underground mining operation

- Intersection includes 16.1 metres at 3.8% Cu and 9.0g/t Au in hole KUPH005

- Mineralisation open at depth and along strike; assays pending for three additional holes, with drilling ongoing.

KBL Mining Limited (ASX:KBL and KBLGA) has intersected a new copper-gold lode in drilling 20 metres below the current development level of its underground operations at Mineral Hill, New South Wales. Initial assay results suggest a new style of mineralisation, with strong potential for down-dip and along strike extensions.

The Company is currently undertaking an extensive underground diamond drilling program aimed at extending mining reserves below the lowest development level at 1190 RL. This program has followed on from detailed geological modelling that has highlighted the potential for discovery of significant near-mine resources at Mineral Hill.
