6 April 2017: Hunter Hall Global Value Limited (ASX:HHV) has been advised by its Registry, Computershare Limited of the final results from the poll conducted at today’s meeting of HHV shareholders to consider 7 resolutions proposed by HHV shareholder Wilson Asset Management (International) Pty Ltd and associated entities (WAM).
All of the WAM resolutions for the election of their nominee directors to the HHV Board were defeated as was its proposal to remove HHV Deputy Chairman, Mr David Groves and HHV Independent Director, Julian Constable, from the HHV Board. The proposal for removal of Independent Chairman, Paul Jensen was carried.
The HHV Board will now take steps to identify and recruit a suitably qualified director to the HHV Board as soon as practicable. The newly appointed director will then stand for election by HHV shareholders in the normal course at the Company’s next Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for November this year.
