DUGAS & LEBLANC #3 DRILLING UPDATE Napoleonville Dugas & Leblanc #3 Well, Assumption Parish, Louisiana, Non Operator 39.5% WI
The Dugas & Leblanc #3 well spudded on 16 April 2011 and reached TVD of 8,000ft (TD 8,920ft) on Saturday, 30 April 2011. The well encountered gas shows through all primary intervals whilst drilling and a further show was identified in a potential new "S" sand structure. The Operator has been attempting to run logs, but has been unable to do so due to well bore obstructions. Over the last 2 days the drill pipe has made a number of attempts to free the obstructions and whilst returning from the bottom of the hole overnight the pipe got stuck again, fortunately it was able to be freed. The Operator is making a final attempt to go in the hole to bottom and will then attempt to run casing.
