- Gold resources at Van Uden upgraded to 5,378,000t @ 1.38 g/t Au for 238,000 ounces, an increase of 92%
- Gold resources at Blue Vein are 4,448,000t @ 2.55g/t Au for 365,000 ounces, as previously reported
- Initial scoping studies and open pit mine designs for both projects are underway and due for completion at the end of the first quarter 2013
- Promising open cut heap leach potential at both projects with gold mineralisation commencing at surface.
Convergent Minerals is pleased to announce that following an upgrade of the gold resource at its 80%-owned Van Uden Project, gold resources at the Company’s two development projects now total 603,000 ounces of gold, bringing the total resources at Mt Holland to 1,167,000 ounces of gold.
The new, combined Measured, Indicated and Inferred JORC resource for Van Uden totals 5,378,000t @ 1.38 g/t Au for a total of 238,000 ounces of gold (at a 0.50 g/t gold lower cut-off).
