Following LionGold Corp Ltd obtaining a 97% interest in Castlemaine shares, the Directors of Castlemaine Goldfields Ltd (“the Company”) wish to announce that Mr Peter McCarthy and Mr Drew Henry have tendered their resignation as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from today.
The Board would like to acknowledge the valuable contribution made by Mr McCarthy during his tenure as Non-Executive Director from 2006. Mr McCarthy has played an integral part in developing the company as it transitioned from explorer to producer at the Ballarat Gold Project.
Mr Henry’s specific knowledge of Central Victoria has been invaluable to the company since his appointment as Non-Executive Director in 2011.
The Directors wish to thank both Mr McCarthy and Mr Henry for their commitment and dedication to the Company.
