Fund commentary
The Antares Small Companies Fund delivered a return of 0.5% (net of fees) for the month of November, outperforming its benchmark index by 0.5%.
The small cap sector of the Australian sharemarket outperformed in November, with the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index ending unchanged despite the fall in the broader market. Small industral stocks performed relatively well (+1.8%), whilst the small resource sector was very weak (-11.7%) in response to further falls in commodity prices.
